Myken Fyr (Myken Lighthouse) is let to groups of 4-8 persons and will give the visitors a memorable stay in the living quarters of the former lighthouse keeper. The lighthouse is situated on an island of its own, facing the Myken community on the other side of the sheltered harbour. The residents can enjoy a spectacular 360 degrees view as far as the eye can see, a sight that includes the glacier Svartisen and the spectacular and famous Helgeland mountains from De Syv Søstre (The Seven Sisters, near Sandnessjøen) in the south to Landego outside Bodø to the north.

The lighthouse is refurbished and offers modern standards. Myken Fyr is let self serviced, or on serviced terms upon advance agreement. The use of a boat with outboard engine, life vests and fishing equipment are included. (Fuel is charged separately).

Prices are dependant on the number of guests and how long they stay. For more informations and booking, call the hostess, Gro (+47 95 27 20 10), or host Helge (+47 95 82 55 31).

The lighthouse has its own homepage: www.mykenfyr.no.
