Myken vindstyrker - Fønvind

Unsmoked whiskey matured in 40-litre ex-sherry casks, both Oloroso, PX and Cream

Tasting note:
The whiskey is characterized by dark and dried fruits such as raisins, prunes and figs. Red berries, lots of round sweetness. Marzipan and almonds. The aftertaste is long and soft, with a spicy taste of chili on the tail.

Strength: 47 vol% alcohol

The oak casks we use most extensively to mature whiskey in are ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.

Myken Vindstyrker is a series of 4 whiskeys stored in 40 liter casks, which have contained just bourbon and sherry. Two whiskeys are without smoke, and two with smoke. Then you can feel the difference between the different casks, and also between whiskey with and without smoke.
