Myken vindstyrker - Frisk bris

  • Unsmoked whiskey matured in 40-litre ex-bourbon casks.


    Tasting notes:
    Sweet and fresh fruit, and a hint of salt and good caramel sweetness. Citrus, tangerines, vanilla, walnuts and spices. Characterized by a long aftertaste, with chili and spices on the tail.


    Strength: 47 vol% alcohol


    Colour: Honey-yellow

  • The oak casks we use most extensively to mature whiskey in are ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.

    Myken Vindstyrker is a series of 4 whiskeys stored in 40 liter casks, which have contained just bourbon and sherry. Two whiskeys are without smoke, and two with smoke. Then you can feel the difference between the different casks, and also between whiskey with and without smoke.
